Buddy Media Partners with Publicis Groupe’s VivaKi

We’re pleased to announce the beginning of a new relationship with VivaKi, an  industry leader in identifying and developing technologies that improve advertising performance.  The goal of the partnership is to leverage the strengths of both companies to help make brand advertising on social networks more accessible, accountable, and results driven.

Buddy Media and VivaKi share a vision of the future of advertising in a social world. This vision is built upon the belief that advertisers need to focus on engaging with consumers through interactive social media app-vertisements, which have proven to be one of the most effective ad units in the online space.

Tim Hanlon, Executive Vice President of VivaKi’s sVentures Group, will join Buddy Media’s Board of Advisors to work with the Buddy Media team on the development of branded apps for VivaKi’s thousands of clients. BuddyMedia CEO, Michael Lazerow, is stoked about the new relationship.

“We believe that their expertise, experience and relationships will be a key factor in helping strengthen Buddy Media’s position as the leader in branded social media application,” said a glowing Lazerow, when questioned about the partnership.

The partnership between Buddy Media and VivaKi will encompass the following:

  • VivaKi will introduce Buddy Media and the Buddy Media Brand Advocate Process to agencies within the Publicis Groupe
  • VivaKi will refer clients and other relevant industry contacts to Buddy Media for the development of branded social media applications
  • VivaKi will provide Buddy Media with insight into the social media advertising needs of major brand marketers, including their advertising priorities, targeting priorities, and perspectives on consumer online behavior
  • VivaKi’s Tim Hanlon will join the Buddy Media Board of Advisors, where he will provide the company with guidance on its overall business strategy

This partnership is a win/win for both companies, but an even bigger win for the brands under the VivaKi umbrella, as they will gain access to the insights and innovations that Buddy Media has developed as the core of their Brand Advocacy Process.
