Buddy Media is a dynamic, fast-paced environment, populated by brilliant, energetic, fun-loving people. We work hard, but we play hard when we can, like on Mustache Fridays. Or any day when we're playing another prank on our COO. When you're working with your Buddies, there's never a dull moment.
Buddies Like to Bond
As we specialize in human connections, strengthening the ones we have within our own workplace is important. Sure, we can get a little competitive; ping-pong can mean bragging rights, and some of our kickball games can be edge-of-your-seat kind of stuff. But ultimately, whether it's a scavenger hunt or a karaoke contest, we're all in it to get to know each other better and have some fun.
We Also Like to Give Back
Our jobs make us happy. We feel fortunate to work in these offices, to be surrounded by wonderful people. So we keep a special place in our hearts for lending a hand to those in need. Such as in February 2011, when more than 50 Buddies packed the gym to participate in the Cycle for Survival charity. Fueled by upbeat music, racing hearts and a determination to help find a cure, more than 50 Buddies cranked out the miles in one-hour shifts. The energy was indescribable. Ultimately, Buddy Media raised $140,000 for the cause. Jennifer Goodman Linn, 6-time cancer survivor, announced that Cycle for Survival has raised more than $4.2 million this year alone, a record to beat in 2012! We plan to keep dedicating our time and energy to this amazing charity every step of the way.
The Difference is in the Details
Work can be stressful. On some days, it can be hard to even find the time to perform the most basic of human functions. But staying in good health, both mind and body, is important. That's why we have a full gym, weekly catered lunches, a fully stocked pantry, ping-pong and foosball tables, gaming consoles, and even a library. Hence, you'll never find a hungry or bored soul within our walls.
We Invest in Our Employees
At Buddy Media, you receive training in the latest social media technology. In addition to graduating from Buddy Media University, we hold weekly Capabilities Sessions where we inform the entire company of changes to our Products, new features, new Facebook capabilities, and much more. Employees are always encouraged to ask questions and submit ideas for ways to improve our Products.
In addition to the latest information, we also provide our Buddies with the latest tools required for their position. From CSS to CSS3, our equipment is always the best available.
