Buddy Media’s latest app-vertisement on Facebook involves a partnership with Hollywood.com so you can imagine what the angle is here. Between the two media companies, the new application will be an engagement trap for users that could offer up a decent amount of market research.
The new app, called Hollywood.com Top 5, consists of a series of quizzes that lets you rank your favorite stuff. Celebrity couples, Comic Book Movies, Top 90s TV Shows… you get the idea. This app is a blatant attempt to get user feedback on consumer products and Hollywood news, but that doesn’t make it any less engaging to end users.
